Junaid Baloch, a spokesperson for the Baloch Liberation Army, informed the press that the insurgents successfully seized control of Sorab city overnight, effectively paralyzing all military, governmental, and financial establishments in the area.

Baloch stated that the militants had dominion over key locations within the city, such as highways, and had razed police stations, checkpoints, official residences, banks, and the entire governmental infrastructure.

He disclosed that during the operation, they confiscated three Kalashnikov rifles alongside assorted weaponry, combat gear, and ammunition.

Moreover, the spokesperson noted the destruction of three adversary vehicles, government storage facilities, a guesthouse, and three banks during the mission.

Pakistan's Dawn News Agency documented that the assailants set fire to a bank and multiple governmental edifices.

As per Dawn News, the insurgents were also responsible for the demise of Sorab City's Deputy Commissioner, Hedayat Balidi. However, Baloch freedom fighters contended that they inadvertently locked Balidi in a room, leading to his unfortunate suffocation—an incident they attributed to mishap.
