China Donates nearly 70000 doses of vaccines to Afghanistan
The Ministry of Public Health has declared that the Afghan Ministry of Health has received a donation of 66,000 vaccine doses from China.
As per the ministry's statement, this donation comprises 33,000 doses of influenza vaccine and 33,000 doses of meningitis vaccine.
Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, the ministry's deputy director of health services, expressed gratitude for China's support and emphasized the importance of meticulous vaccine customs management to uphold its quality.
Simultaneously, during a meeting held in Kabul, the Chinese representative highlighted their ongoing aid to Afghanistan's health sector and indicated plans for expanding this support to additional domains.
It is pertinent to mention that China has intermittently provided aid to Afghanistan in health, emergency shelter, and food sectors, a gesture that the Afghan government warmly acknowledges.
