The leadership of the Islamic Emirate has sanctioned a budget of 148 million Afghanis for the establishment of a 100-bed hospital in Panjshir province.

As per Panjshir provincial spokesperson Saifuddin Mankhan, the hospital is slated to be constructed in Baharak village, the provincial capital of Panjshir, comprising two three-story structures built to standard specifications.

Mankhan elaborated that post-construction, the hospital will offer a range of medical services to Panjshir residents, encompassing departments such as surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, a fully equipped operating theater, pharmacy, and X-ray facilities.

Panjshir Governor Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim hailed the construction of this hospital within the province as a pivotal stride towards enhancing healthcare services, asserting that it will effectively cater to the healthcare needs of Panjshir's populace.

Conversely, Panjshir residents have expressed contentment with the project's approval, emphasizing that their fundamental requirements have remained unaddressed over the past two decades.
