Historical artifacts are now safe from trafficking
At the International Museum Coordination Meeting, Atiqullah Azizi, the Deputy Minister of Arts and Culture at the Ministry of Information and Culture, highlighted that Afghanistan's National Museum has curated and showcased ancient artifacts dating back 5,000 years, providing insights into the country's rich history.
Azizi emphasized that efforts have been made to entirely halt the illicit trafficking of historical relics from Afghanistan while emphasizing the safeguarding of artifacts from the Aynak copper mine.
Furthermore, he mentioned that regional nations, notably Qatar, are prepared to host exhibitions featuring historical treasures, which are set to be displayed at an upcoming international showcase.
Encouraging participation in the National Museum's international exhibitions, Azizi urged attendees to explore the museum and consider investments across various domains.
