Deputy Prime Minister Participates in 9th China-South Asia Exhibition
Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Administrative Deputy Prime Minister, took part in the 9th China-South Asia International Exhibition (CSA) hosted in Kunming during his official visit to China.
During his address, he viewed the exhibition as a valuable opportunity to foster economic, cultural, and political collaborations among regional countries, highlighting China's pivotal role in the region's economic advancement, particularly through initiatives like the "One Belt, One Road" project.
Expressing Afghanistan's keenness to enhance partnerships with China and South Asian nations in areas such as mining, energy, transit, technology, and trade, the Deputy Prime Minister underscored Afghanistan's geographical positioning as a potential conduit between Central, South, and East Asia.
Furthermore, he delineated key domestic accomplishments of the Islamic Emirate, including the implementation of a general amnesty, ensuring security, combating drug trafficking, and initiating infrastructure projects, while affirming Afghanistan's stance against allowing its territory to be used for threatening others.
It is noteworthy that the Deputy Prime Minister embarked on a journey to China last Wednesday, leading a distinguished delegation.
