Afghan Norwegian Officials Discuss Bilateral Relations
Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi held discussions with the Norwegian Royal State Chargé d’Affaires to Afghanistan, Peer Albert Al-Sass, covering various bilateral and regional matters.
As per the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Muttaqi lauded Norway's acceptance of the Islamic Emirate's diplomat as a positive step in fostering relations, emphasizing Norway's constructive role in Afghan-Western relations.
Expressing apprehension about the prevailing regional scenario, the Afghan minister affirmed the government's readiness to collaborate with the Iranian populace on Islamic and humanitarian grounds.
In the course of the meeting, the Norwegian official mentioned an upcoming delegation visit from Norway aimed at evaluating the relationship between the two nations.
