Under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the National Procurement Commission meeting reviewed and deliberated on 29 significant projects.

The Economic Deputy Office disclosed that out of these projects, 24 underwent modifications, two received approval, and two were revoked.

Among the projects that were modified and approved are the construction of the Juliet Ramp at Kandahar International Airport, the rehabilitation of non-rail facilities along the Hairatan-Mazar-e-Sharif railway, the development of the Kunar-Nuristan route's first and second sections, the reconstruction of the Shamalan Canal in Nawa district, Helmand, the installation of security cameras at national customs points, and the procurement of electrical equipment for various provinces.

As highlighted by the Economic Deputy Office, the financing for all these initiatives is sourced from the Islamic Emirate's budget.

It is notable that since assuming power, the Islamic Emirate has overseen the implementation of numerous significant economic projects that the populace views as unprecedented in recent decades.
