As reported by the Deputy Prime Minister's Office for Economic Affairs, the economic policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan received approval during a session of the Economic Commission. Chaired by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, the meeting culminated in the endorsement of the economic policy following a thorough assessment.

The specified government bureau articulates that the vision of this policy is to foster "a developed and prosperous Afghanistan grounded in the Islamic economic framework," with goals encompassing the establishment of an enabling environment to attract and foster investments, boost domestic production and exports, elevate employment rates, alleviate poverty, ensure sustainable economic advancement and growth, promote economic stability, prosperity, and uphold Islamic principles of social justice.

Moreover, the Deputy Prime Minister's Office for Economic Affairs underscores that the economic policy will serve as a pivotal mechanism in harmonizing the nation's economic endeavors, optimizing resource utilization, and bolstering the private sector.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy that plans for the establishment of two commercial markets received approval during this session of the Economic Commission.
