Afghan Ambassador Assumes Office in Uzbekistan
The Afghan ambassador to Uzbekistan has commenced his official duties. As per the Afghan Embassy in Uzbekistan, Sheikh Abdul Ghaffar Bahr, the new ambassador representing the Islamic Emirate, has formally initiated his responsibilities through a series of inaugural events.
The ceremony, attended by the Deputy Minister of Public Health, Afghan expatriates residing in Uzbekistan, local businessmen, and embassy diplomats, was held at the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent.
Sheikh Abdul Ghaffar Bahr was recently appointed by the Islamic Emirate to serve as the new ambassador of Afghanistan to Uzbekistan.
It is worth noting that the Islamic Emirate presently maintains operational embassies and representative offices in approximately 40 countries globally. These countries, including China, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, and several others, have officially recognized and accepted Afghanistan's ambassadors and chargés d'affaires.
