Cardiac surgery department established at Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan Hospital
The Ministry of National Defense has announced the establishment of a cardiac surgery department at Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan Hospital, which is a 400-bed facility. This marks the first time such a department has been introduced in the hospital.
The newly established department will provide treatment for patients with heart-related conditions. This development signifies a significant step forward in enhancing healthcare services for individuals in need of cardiac care.
In addition to the cardiac surgery department, it is worth noting that the Human Prosthesis Center was recently inaugurated within the same hospital. This specialized center offers a range of services, including prosthetic arms, automatic knee prostheses, and prostheses for hands and feet. These services aim to provide greater support and improved facilities for individuals with disabilities, including those affiliated with the Islamic Army and the previous administration.
