Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) has declared that the most extensive wind power venture in Herat province is set to be officially unveiled by senior officials of the Islamic Emirate imminently.

This project, capable of generating 200 megawatts, is anticipated to cost around 64 million dollars. It is anticipated that upon its completion, the electricity predicament faced by industrialists in Herat will be effectively resolved.

Furthermore, Breshna Sherkat specified that the initial phase of this initiative, capable of generating 43.2 megawatts of electricity, is poised to commence.

Today, officials from Breshna Sherkat will also inaugurate a 5-megawatt solar power generation project in Herat.
