Thermal Power Plant Acivitated to Address Power Shortages in Kabul
Afghanistan's national power utility, Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), has announced the operationalization of the Tarkhel Thermal Power Plant to mitigate ongoing power shortages in Kabul city.
By activating this plant, the company has integrated an additional 105 megawatts of thermal power into the grid, consequently reducing power interruptions during sweltering summer days.
