Deputy PM Calls for Strengthening Kabul-Ankara Relations
The administrative Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi advocated for enhanced relations between Kabul and Ankara during a meeting with the new Afghan Ambassador to Turkey, Sheikh Saniullah Farahmand.
The Presidential Palace disclosed that in this encounter, Mr. Hanafi urged Farahmand to prioritize efforts in fostering stronger ties between the two nations in alignment with the Islamic Emirate's policies.
Mr. Farahmand pledged his commitment to bolstering bilateral relations and addressing the challenges faced by Afghan residents in Turkey.
This meeting occurred concurrently with a recent discussion between Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, where both sides emphasized the need to fortify ties between Kabul and Ankara.
