New Health Center Opens in Farah
The Ministry of Public Health has revealed the establishment of a new Outpatient Department (OPD) health facility in Farah province, constructed at a cost of approximately $350,000, with the commencement of health services at the site.
This health center, located in Maan Kan village, Anar Dara district of Farah province, is fully equipped with essential medical instruments, as stated by the ministry.
Emphasizing that a national investor spearheaded the center's construction, the ministry affirmed that the facility will deliver healthcare services to the local populace in adherence to established standards.
Additionally, the Ministry of Public Health declared the provision of five crucial pieces of equipment valued at $50,000 to the 200-bed hospital in Jawzjan.
It is noteworthy that post the Islamic Emirate's regained control, efforts have been made to establish health facilities in remote and underserved regions, thereby expanding healthcare services to these areas.
