Amir Khan Muttaqi discuss boosting bilateral relations with Turkish counterpart
Afghan Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi engaged in talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the 51st OIC Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Istanbul.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed that the two diplomats deliberated on the bilateral ties between Afghanistan and Turkey along with regional matters.
Within the meeting, the Foreign Minister underscored Turkey's significant role in the foreign policy of the Islamic Emirate.
Amir Khan Muttaqi emphasized that as the Kabul-Ankara bilateral relations progress, there should be a corresponding escalation in bilateral cooperation.
The Turkish Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of relations with Afghanistan and stressed the need for an enhanced collaboration between the two nations across various sectors.
