The Ministry of Higher Education has initiated the second phase of the curriculum review and enhancement cluster for mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology departments across educational institutions in the country.

Mufti Abdul Rauf Farahi, the Director of Curriculum at the Ministry of Higher Education, emphasized the foundational importance of these subjects in all scientific and experimental disciplines within the cluster.

Encouraging participants to align curricula with international standards, national and religious values, and societal requisites, Mr. Farahi underscored the significance of Muslim scholars in contemporary scientific advancements, surpassing the historical contributions of Greeks and Western scholars.

This development coincides with a period where educational establishments were using outdated textbooks that failed to address societal needs. With the emergence of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, there is a renewed focus on updating this educational domain.
