As per the Ministry of Rural Development and Reconstruction, ten fresh water supply networks have been constructed and activated in Paktia Province, amounting to over 32 million Afghanis. 
As per the ministry's details, these networks were established by the Provincial Department of Rural Reconstruction and Development with financial backing from Nunesf. 
These clean water supply systems have been installed in Zermatt, Garda Parkhai, Syed Karam, Dand Patan, Jani Khelo, and Chamkneo districts, as well as in the central city of Gardez in Paktia Province, involving an expenditure of approximately 32 million Afghanis. 
These networks encompass the expansion of 38,626 meters of pipelines and the creation of ten fresh water reservoirs. 
Upon the completion of these initiatives, 2,000 households have gained access to clean water.
